WALLworks is a series of photographs taken by zurich based photographer kecia barkawi in a variety of places around the world.

walls, if looked at closely, carefully and without connection to the building they belong to, can be artworks in their own right. they leave the observer in a world of daydreams, take them far away to foreign countries, exotic cultures, back decades in history or right to the pure present. images that could be a blemish on walls in own "polished" home countries may be natural and beautiful in others.

all WALLworks are handmade, printed on fine canvas, mounted onto a 4 cm wooden frame and are available in editions of ten.

there are three sizes:

- small: 30 x 45 cm at chf 500
- medium: 52 x 80 cm at chf 750
- large: 60 x 90 cm at chf 850
